ASP.NET Core 1.0 NuGet packaging

By now I would hope that everyone is familiar with NuGet, but in case you’ve been living under a rock.

NuGet is the package manager for the Microsoft development platform including .NET. The NuGet client tools provide the ability to produce and consume packages. The NuGet Gallery is the central package repository used by all package authors and consumers.

Modern Web Development

Today, “modern web development” means something entirely different than it did three years ago…or five, or ten — hell, even a few months ago. That’s not to say that it is entirely different though either! Things are moving so fast it is becoming harder and harder to keep up. I guess that is great for job security, but that also implies that there will be much more competition as time marches forward. Building an Angular2 SPA with ASP.NET Core 1.0, MVC 6, Web API 2, and TypeScript 1.7.5


The purpose of this post is to establish ourselves with a working environment geared towards development on ASP.NET Core 1.0 through Visual Studio 2015.
